Information
One day, the hair found in the dish of one of the visitors exasperates the scrupulous and disciplined chef Haji Hassan. The angry chef immediately convenes his team and announces their punishment. The next morning, all the employees come to the restaurant with their heads shaved. When Mehmet was left without hair as a result of this punishment, a scar in the shape of the letter "V" became visible on his head, resulting from an accident at an early age. This sign, which means "seven" in Old Turkish, attracts the attention of the master, and he gives him the nickname “7 Mehmet”, which will never be erased from his name. This is how the story of Mehmet 7 begins.
Mehmet, who opened his own business as a small snack bar in the trading yard called belediye, serves soup to the merchants on a special tray on the first day. The next day, he removes this service and starts waiting for customers at his place. Vendors who sample buttered soup line up in front of a tiny diner. In this small diner, consisting of four chairs, a table and three to five sets, the history of 7 Mehmet soups begins in the 1940s.Type of kitchen
